Data processing notice

Privacy Policy

This policy applies only to tools.quickkit.net, operated by QuickKit Tools, and explains what may remain in your browser or be sent externally while you use the tools.

Effective date:

Scope

Most tool inputs are processed in your browser as described by the relevant tool. Ordinary page requests, user-approved model downloads, and the internet speed test require network communication, so we do not claim that every operation works offline or avoids external requests.

The privacy and runtime notes shown on each tool page describe that tool's specific behavior.

Browser and device storage

Features may use the following browser storage. Stored data remains in the browser and device you use and is not automatically synchronized to another browser or device.

  • localStorage may hold favorites, display or tool settings, notes, draft input, and other local tool state.
  • IndexedDB may hold larger downloaded assets such as OCR language data.
  • Cache Storage may hold verified downloads of AI models and related runtime assets.

Permissions and files

The browser reads files only after you select or drop them. Camera, microphone, and screen-sharing access are requested by the browser only when you start a relevant recording or testing feature; your browser and operating system control approval and revocation.

Copy actions attempt to write to the clipboard after you activate them, and pasted content is handled when you choose to paste it. This site does not request notification permission. Selected files and media stay in the browser unless a tool's own notice explicitly describes an external transfer.

External requests

The hosting services that deliver the site and its static assets may process ordinary request metadata such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, request time, and referring page.

Some AI and OCR features download required model or runtime assets from public model providers or content delivery networks after you review and approve a download notice. Those providers receive the download request. You can inspect and remove installed assets through the model manager.

Starting the internet speed test downloads test data from https://speed.cloudflare.com/__down. Cloudflare may process the request metadata; the test does not upload your files or tool input to the speed-test endpoint.

Advertising and cookies

Google AdSense auto ads are active on this site. Whether and where an ad appears can vary with Google's automatic ad settings, available advertising demand, and the visitor's environment.

Subject to applicable consent choices and account or browser settings, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, measure, or personalize advertising.

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and review how Google uses information from partner sites and apps through the links below. If another advertising network is added, this policy will identify that network and its opt-out mechanism.

Retention and deletion

Settings, notes, tool state, and downloaded assets stored in your browser may remain until you remove them or the browser evicts them under its storage policy. The model manager can remove individual or all stored models, and your browser's site-data controls can clear the site storage described above.

Hosting request metadata may be retained under the hosting provider's operational and security policies. Use the contact below to identify the processing you want to ask about.
