Requirements

The completion sound may be unavailable when browser autoplay rules block audio or the Web Audio API is unsupported.

Common questions

Does time keep advancing while the tab is in the background?
The timer recalculates from its target end time, so it catches up after brief tab throttling. The finish sound can still be delayed by browser power-saving policies.
Is a configured timer saved for my next visit?
No. Duration and running state exist only on the current page and reset after a reload.
