Key features

How to use

Examples

  • Create a text-based site icon

    Apply a font, colors, and shape to a short label or emoji and generate several PNG icon sizes.

  • Export an existing logo at icon sizes

    Crop an image to the square with cover behavior and save the needed PNG sizes from 16 px through 512 px.

Requirements

This tool exports six PNG sizes, not ICO. Convert a downloaded PNG separately when a legacy environment specifically requires ICO.

Common questions

Does it create a favicon.ico file?
No. It exports 16, 32, 48, 180, 192, and 512 px PNG files; convert one separately if ICO is required.
Will all entered text be drawn into the icon?
The preview and exports use only the first three Unicode code points and shrink them to fit using the selected browser font.
