Binary, Octal, Decimal, and Hex Converter

Enter an integer in any of four bases and calculate the others simultaneously with exact BigInt arithmetic.

Display hexadecimal results with uppercase letters (A–F).

0–1
0–7
0–9
0–9, A–F

Enter a value in any base field to convert the others automatically. Very large integers are supported.

Key features

  • Converts among binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal input.
  • Uses JavaScript BigInt to preserve every digit of large integers.
  • Reports characters that are invalid for the field's radix immediately.
  • Switches hexadecimal A–F output between uppercase and lowercase.

How to use

  1. Enter an integer in the field for the base you know.
  2. Review the three automatically calculated bases.
  3. Copy any result individually.

Examples

  • Convert a development value

Inspect a decimal integer as binary bits or a hexadecimal identifier.

  • Understand an octal permission value

Convert octal numbers to other bases to inspect their numeric relationship.

Privacy

Integer validation and base conversion run in your browser.

Requirements

Only non-negative integers are supported; negatives, fractions, and prefixes such as 0x are not accepted.

Common questions

Are very large integers converted exactly?
Yes. JavaScript BigInt preserves all digits even beyond the regular Number range.
Can I include prefixes such as 0x or 0b?
No. Enter only digits valid for that field's base; negative values and fractions are also unsupported.
