Key features

  • Converts up to 20 HEIC, HEIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF images sequentially to limit memory use.
  • Confirms the signature of HEIC and HEIF candidates, then loads the local decoder only when one is processed without uploading image bytes.
  • Exports JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF, applies quality to lossy formats, and verifies the MIME type the browser actually returns.
  • Keeps failures isolated per file and downloads results individually or creates a duplicate-safe ZIP only when you explicitly request it.

How to use

  1. Add HEIC, HEIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF files by selection, drop, or paste.
  2. Choose JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF output and a quality when applicable, then click Convert images.
  3. Review each result or error, then download individual files or a ZIP of multiple successful results.

Examples

  • Share iPhone HEIC photos

Convert HEIC or HEIF photos locally to broadly compatible JPEG or PNG files for websites, forms, and documents.

  • Normalize a mixed image batch

Turn mixed JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF files into one output format with a consistent quality setting.

  • Choose transparency or compatibility

Use PNG, WebP, or AVIF when transparency matters, or choose JPEG for broad support with transparent pixels filled white.

Privacy

HEIC decoding, canvas conversion, and ZIP creation run in your browser; image bytes are never sent to a server.

Requirements

Inputs are limited to 20 MB each, 100 MB total, 20 files, and 40 megapixels per image. HEIC and HEIF candidates require a matching file signature, while WebP and AVIF export support depends on the browser. Canvas output does not preserve EXIF metadata or animation frames.

Common questions

Are HEIC files uploaded to a server?
No. Signature checks, HEIC decoding, and every conversion run locally in the current browser.
Can AVIF or WebP conversion fail?
If the browser cannot encode the selected canvas format, that file shows an error while the remaining files continue.
Are EXIF details and animated frames preserved?
No. The decoded image is re-encoded through a canvas, so EXIF metadata and animation frames are not retained.
