Key features

  • Selects an exact rectangle by dragging on an aspect-correct preview or entering pixel X, Y, width, and height values.
  • Supports free, 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9 crops with a one-click reset to the full image.
  • Changes output width or height with the crop ratio locked, or unlocks both dimensions for independent values.
  • Exports the selected area at the requested pixel size as JPEG, PNG, or verified browser-supported WebP.

How to use

  1. Add one JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF image by selection, drop, or paste.
  2. Drag a crop area or enter exact coordinates, choose its ratio, and set the output dimensions.
  3. Choose JPEG, PNG, or WebP and export the resized crop.

Examples

  • Prepare profile and thumbnail ratios

Crop a person or product to 1:1, 4:3, or 16:9 and export the exact pixel dimensions required by a service.

  • Trim a screenshot by exact coordinates

Enter X, Y, width, and height to keep only the required UI area and resize its final resolution.

Privacy

Image decoding, crop selection, resizing, and file creation run in your browser; image bytes are not uploaded to a server.

Requirements

Input is limited to one image of 20 MB and 40 megapixels. Output width and height are each limited to 1–16,384 pixels and 40 megapixels total; WebP export support depends on the browser.

Common questions

How is this different from image compression or conversion?
This tool changes the source area and output pixel dimensions. Use the image compressor to optimize file size, or the image converter to change format while keeping the area and dimensions.
Are the image and crop selection uploaded?
No. Decoding, cropping, resizing, and output generation all run inside your current browser.
