Photo EXIF Metadata Viewer

Photo EXIF Metadata Viewer

Inspect camera, lens, exposure, capture time, GPS, and raw EXIF values from a photo in your browser.

Key features

  • Summarizes camera, lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
  • Shows capture time and image dimensions when present.
  • Copies GPS coordinates and offers a Google Maps link when latitude and longitude exist.
  • Expands a sorted JSON-style view of the parsed raw EXIF fields.

How to use

  1. Add an image up to 50 MB by selection, drop, or paste.
  2. Review the summary and expand raw metadata if needed.
  3. Copy GPS coordinates or deliberately open the external map link.

Examples

  • Review photo capture settings

Summarize EXIF fields retained in the file, such as camera and lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, and capture time.

  • Check location data before sharing

See whether GPS coordinates remain in an image and copy them when reviewing sensitive location metadata.

Privacy

EXIF parsing runs in your browser. If you open the GPS map link, you navigate to a Google Maps URL containing the coordinates.

Requirements

Fields available from JPEG, HEIC, TIFF, PNG, and other images depend on the format, browser, and metadata retained in the source. File size is limited to 50 MB.

Common questions

Will every image show camera details?
No. Available fields depend on the metadata still present in the file, its image format, and browser support.
Does the map action stay entirely in the browser?
EXIF and coordinate extraction run in the browser, but choosing View Map opens a Google Maps address containing those coordinates.
