TOTP & 2FA Code Generator

Generate time-based OTP codes from a Base32 secret with selectable hash, digit length, period, and an authenticator-ready otpauth URI.

Secret & options
Current code

Enter a Base32 secret or generate one to display a code.

Key features

  • Shows the current TOTP code and seconds remaining from a Base32 secret.
  • Supports SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512 with 6-, 7-, or 8-digit codes.
  • Selects a 15-, 30-, or 60-second period and optional issuer and account labels.
  • Generates a new 20-byte random secret or accepts an existing secret.
  • Builds and copies an otpauth URI for authenticator enrollment.

How to use

  1. Enter an existing Base32 secret or generate a new one.
  2. Set the algorithm, digits, period, and optional issuer or account.
  3. Read the live code or copy the otpauth URI.

Examples

  • Test a 2FA integration

Compare current codes using the same secret, algorithm, and period as a server.

  • Build an authenticator URI

Create an otpauth URI containing issuer and account information.

Privacy

The secret, TOTP code, and otpauth URI are computed in browser memory, and QuickKit does not store them.

Requirements

Anyone who obtains the TOTP secret or otpauth URI can reproduce the codes. Protect real account values from screen sharing, logs, and clipboard exposure.

Common questions

Can I use an existing Base32 secret?
Yes. Enter an existing value or generate a new 20-byte secret in the browser.
Can I change authenticator settings?
Choose SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512; 6, 7, or 8 digits; and 15, 30, or 60 seconds, then build an otpauth URI with issuer and account.
